Dr. Mark Tholen

Dr. Mark Tholen is a 1986 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is a member of the Central Texas Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. He has studied and completed additional clinic work and passed proficiency tests to become a board certified therapeutic eye disease specialist and a board certified glaucoma specialist. The primary focus of his clinical practice is in the detection & treatment of eye disease, prescribing glasses and fitting contact lenses.

Dr. Barbara Tholen

Dr. Barbara Tholen is a 1986 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is a member of the Central Texas Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Barbara's primary focus of her clinical practice is in the detection & treatment of eye disease, prescribing glasses and fitting contact lenses.

Susie Torrez - Office Manager

Mrs. Torrez has worked in the optical industry since 1982 and has worked with Dr. Mark & Dr.Barbara Tholen since 1986. She is highly knowledgeable in fitting, dispensing and manufacturing of glasses. She has extensive classroom and practical training in all facets of eyecare/eyewear and special testing for eye disease in the clinic.
